Two updates pushed out this week failed to install:

- Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985)

- Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3174060)

In both cases, after restarting, the process displayed a notification: We couldn't complete the updates, Undoing changes. The computer started rebooting many times before letting me sign in again.

The only way to get them installed was to download the updates from the Windows Update Catalog and installing manually.

I am wondering if I am the only one having this issue.

I am also concerned because I don't have the time to wait for that lengthy "undo-process" to complete with each update, because it takes 5 reboots until I get to sign in again (all in all no less than 30 minutes).

One thing I noticed every time after signing in to Windows is that there's a small Window that says: Removing personalized settings for Web Platform Customizations.

Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated.
