Sorry, it's got REALLY confusing around here in the last week, especially
with others "piggyback" posting onto someone else's thread.
If you have successfully installed all critical updates offered to your
Vista machine since 11 Jul-07 *and* they're all listed in Add/Remove
Programs *and* they're all listed as being successfully installed at Windows
Update website > Update History, simply go to
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and select CUSTOM scan > Uncheck all
updates being offered that you've successfully installed already and "hide"
them ("Don't show me this update again").
NB: IMHO this should NOT happen, especially in the latest & greatest Windows
version. I /strongly/ recommend that you open a free Support Incident about
this. Without a "dead body" count, MS won't be as aware of the problem as
it should be.
