It seems to me that ever since update changed from Microsoft Update to Windows update and moved from a website that had a list to our computers and with a list that you get a bevy of updates that dont apply to your computer. Its getting to the point that functionalities that us more experienced users used have disappeared. I had windows 10 for 2 months and then it updated restarted and kept going thru a start up loop. I finally had enough after 2 hours of that and used Seagates dos tools to Military grade erase the drive and reinstalled windows 7. Went fine until it did auto updating. 220 updates later and 53 of them were failed. I went thru each one individually to insure they werent needed for my system and some of them were and some were not.

This was the latest issue. Its no wonder people are going to Linux Windows it seems is for those who dont care about functionalities and leaving the more advanced users to the way side
