Windows Update not compatible with BIOS?

M PC recently crashed after a windows update (KB5029263), in which it would install, then blank screen after getting to the Pin/Password page.I have downloaded the update manually and even re-installed windows, but to no effect. My Bios is, as far as I'm aware, fully up to date.I have downloaded the update ontoa usb and applied it to the PC offline, but when I do an error comes up saying the update is not applicable to my computer, yet windows update will install the same update and brick my PC. Does anyone know a fix for this? thanks.System specs belowHP OMEN 25L Gaming DesktopAMD Ryzen 5 560
