I use a machine with Windows 7 Professional. On Saturday, August 24th, I downloaded and installed 4 updates through Windows Update. Three were for Office Professional 2010 and the fourth was the August monthly security rollup. All went normal until my computer started to reboot itself after the install (normal). The PC logo came up and then it changed to a black screen and across the bottom of the screen scrolled "Windows is loading files..." and there it has stayed since Saturday afternoon (not normal).
I was able to run the hardware diagnostics for the computer and it passed all of the tests. After the computer sat for about two hours I rebooted it and tried to go into Windows Safe Mode - no luck. "HELP!" Are there any tools that I can use or create that can help me fix this problem?
