Was the installed antivirus software actively monitoring the system when
IE7 was installed ? If so, suggest you uninstall IE7 from Add/Remove
Programs in the Control Panel. That will roll IE back to Version 6.
Yes, the antivirus software was running when IE7 was installed. thanks for
the tip, I'll try these fixes and get back.
