For the last month, every time windows update trys to start, my computer gets real slow. I check Task Manager and find that 50% of My PC cpu is Busy. By trail and error, I always found that the WUPFSVC task was always running at the time. I went to services and stopped the Windows Update Service and my CPU went back to 5-10%.
I restarted the service and went to one of the Optional Updates that I have not installed and when I atttempted to install it, the computer went into a loop and never finished.. I had to cancel it with Task Manager.
The last bunch of updates were installed on 6/25/2016..
I am running Norton/360 and System Mechanic. When I try to run System Mechanic and perform a deep analysis, it goes into a loop also..
Any I deas would be helpful..
