I just downloaded the "Dial-a Fix" software v0.60.0.24 located at

http://wiki.djlizard.net/Dial-a-fix

I installed it on two different machines and it fixed them both and allowed
the updates to complete.

Download the .exe file. Click on it and just check the following boxes:

1. MSI: Check the Fix Windows Installer. This will also check the 4 boxes
below.
2. WU/WUAU: Check Fix Windows Update. This will also check the 3 boxes below
it and all the SSL/HTTPS/Cryptography boxes.
3.Registeration center: Check all boxes the click 'Go"

It takes about 3 minutes to complete.

Thank you bobbyj, I have had the same problem for 2 weeks and now with the
Dial-a-Fix its all done. Excellent.

Hi bobbyj,
I have a similar problem as you have had!
I have XP Pro. and Explorer 7.
when I go to the download page it searches for updates finds 82 goes to
download and install. I get the box on screen downloading and installing,
verifying, the lot but when it comes to Install, the bar appeares, but then
the message "some updates could not be Installed, all 82 of them!! do you
think tat "Dai-A Fix" could work on my setup.
