We have a server running on Windows Small Business Server 2008 64-bit operating system.
We are getting error 8024402F which checking for new updates.
Below steps performed.
# Stopped the windows update services and rename the Software Distribution folder & catroot2 folder.
# Restarted Windows update related Services (BITS, Cryptography and Windows Installer)
# Reset the Windows update component.
# Ran SFC scan and found corruption but repaired successfully.
# Ran system readiness tool on the server.
# Rebooted the server.
# No any isue from firewall as it working on other system under same network.
# Still all exceptions set in Firewall.
