Windows Update fails with error code 0xc1900204

Windows 10 Update hasn't run successfully for some time and when I start it manually it downloads but during the installation (at about 50%) a failure occurs, resulting in this message: "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0xc1900204)"I have followed the typical recommendations, including:- Running it again- Making sure I have no issues in Device Manager- All 3rd party drivers are up to date- Have tested unplugging all peripherals except keyboard and mouse-
