Windows update fails to install

[Windows 10]

I have been trying for almost a week to get Windows update KB5050081 to install. Progresses to 100%, then fails. Says some update files are missing or corrupt. Have performed every troubleshooting method available. With no luck. I understand this update deals with Outlook. I have the new Outlook installed already. Is this the issue? I'm at a loss at what to do next. I certainly don't want to reinstall Windows. Is this cumulative update mandatory? Any help would be appreciated.
