I have two "important" updates that keep failing when trying to update: Security Update for Windows (KB4534310), and Microsoft Edge Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4567409).
I have both prerequisites for the updates installed, and I've tried manually downloading these updates from the catalog. They will successfully install, but when I restart my computer to configure it will stop partway through with the message "failure configuring windows updates, reverting changes" and the error code is 80070490. I've gone through multiple troubleshooting options from this forum with no luck.
I would like to update to Windows 10, but the update fails because I have these "important" updates still pending. Thanks for the help!
