i have this recommended update for my system, "Update for Windows Mail Junk
E-mail Filter [August 2007] (KB905866)." evry time i try to update this i get
an Error message code 8007371B.
could any one help me get around this problem please?

Following my previous post (see 'Problematic Updates in Windows Vista'), I
decided to check the status of my updates using the Belarc Advisor program.
It said that update KB935807 was missing, although Windows Update said that
it was installed. I uninstalled this update and restarted my machine and
logged on as the main Administrator. I then checked for updates and KB935807
came up as expected. Unfortunately, it failed to install correctly giving an
error code of 8007371B. It did this twice in a row, but on the third
occassion it installed correctly. On restarting, this time into a standard
account, the Belarc Advisor program showed that the update was correctly
installed. Incidentally, it also showed that the updates mentioned in my
previous post were also correctly installed.

the fix i had after getting this code 6 times was i set hide update and
system ckd
new updates and installed email filter. its like a glitch in the system as
it fisrt
tried to install so you have to block and get it out of updates. by doing
this i got
update like it was never sent in first place. hope this helps.
