Windows update disabled internet adapter

On November 27th, my computer's internet suddenly stopped working. I have a cable going straight from the router to my PC. I have tried restarting my computer, checking my internet cable on other computers, cleaned the PC, went through device manager, drivers, different commands, BIOS and more. Basically, I did everything trying to find the root cause of the problem. I wasn't sure if the problem was the hardware or windows. I used a USB to run Linux and suddenly my internet worked.
