windows update break the external monitor support on lenovo yoga X1 3rd gen

there appears a bug in the recent windows update that break the external monitor support on my lenovo yoga x1 3rd gen with intel 620 gpu. try all the old and new drivers, it won't work. and does not allow me to roll back, i might need to reinstall windows for this issue.there is simply no response when trying to connect to external monitor.
