Windows update 24H2 - shutting down running programs and Remote Desktop

After updating to 24H2, some of my programs get shut down, even when they are running tasks.I have tried re-installing the programs (Metatrader 4) but to no avail, they still get terminated, without clear pattern of behavior.Remote Desktop is another victim of the update. It get disconnected frequently. Re-starting RD services doesn't always work. At many a time, I would need to re-boot the host (on 24H2) to get back the connection.
