Windows Update 24H2 Caused Problems

On 1-25-25 I installed Windows Version 24H2. Now the ICON for the "WordPad" app is missing. I have many important files that I can no l longer access.How do I get the app and icon back ?I was going to do a Restore Point, but there are none listed.Can I uninstall Version 24H2 ?Please help. As I said, I have a lot of important information in WordPad.Thank you
