Windows start menu is not responding, need help!!!

After a recent auto-update, my Windows 10 start menu is not responding or opening. I tried to run the troubleshooter as well as restarting explorer but it didn't work out. Is there any other quick fix ?(Note: Sorry if my question sounds dumb but i need to get this fixed as soon as possible)
