Windows Spotlight Desktop - Default Image Interval

I've been using Windows Spotlight (desktop) on my Windows 10 device for a couple months now. My only complaint is that it will stay on one picture for 2-3 days, and then cycle through 4 others within a matter of hours. Is this normal? What is the default interval for displaying each image? I can't seem to find anyone else who has this same issue.
