Windows sign in asks for a PIN when I haven't set up one

Hi, I'm on windows 11 and it was working fine until earlier today. I have been asked to use my PIN in order to login. Unfortunately, I haven't set it up so I don't know why it keeps asking me for one. I am not able to sign in using my password or my fingerprint as it keeps asking for a PIN. Additionally, I can't seem to run it on recovery mode (by holding down left shift + restart). Can someone help with this? This is frustrating.
