If I look at the Windows Backup (Windows Server 2016 is the same), it says Back up to a hard disk that is dedicated for backups (recommended)
Choose this option for the safest way to store backup. The hard disk that you use will be formatted and then dedicated to only store backups.

shows the procedure. However, the author has an Oracle VM VirtualBox to create 100G locations. I do not have Oracle VM VirtualBox.
I thought I might use 100G USB drive. However, Dell support did not think that was a good idea.
I talked to Dell Sales who solution is to sacrifice standard hard drive for the clause.
What 100G space can I use for the backup that requires the space to be reformatted?
