I have been trying to install the Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2003 for
Small Business Server. The update gets through the system check and the file
archiving, but when it begins the actual install I get an error message that
it cannot install the CAB files. Anyone else having this problem or have a
suggestion to correct this problem?

Hi Jeff:

Did you have installed SP1 in that machine? My experience it is that you
need to have SP1 installed, due SBS SP2 installation without that is tricky
to say the best.

SP1 is installed. I just received notice from the automatic update that the
SP2 update was available for installation.

How and from where did you download the SP2 file.

First through the Microsoft automatic updates. When that failed, I went
directly to the Microsoft website to attempt the download/install (multiple
times) and this failed as well.
