windows security pop up "sample protection"

this happened after i found out i downloaded a trojan virus and a week (which is today) i went to delete some suspicious files i downloaded, then a windows security notification popped up and i clicked on it, and there was a pop-up on the window asking me to transfer files to check them, so i dont know if its safe and a real thing or its the trojan messing up my laptop
