Windows search not working

Windows 11 Home. The search bar is not working properly. Specifically, when clicking on the start button, and then typing in the search bar, the search function is restricted to document files and internet searches. For example, if I type "Paint", I get the option to search "paint" on the internet, and all the files on my PC that include the characters "paint" are shown in the results tab. However, the search results do not include apps (like Microsoft paint) or settings.
