Windows Search Bar not working

My Windows Search Bar stopped working some time ago. I would normally get it running again, doing some of the recommended drills: from troubleshooting to rebuilding Windows Search Index, updating, DISM and SFC Tools, restarting font caché services... Normally one of these would work. Until now and nothing seems to get it restarted again. It is quite frustrating and feels like Microsoft should have figured this out long ago, considering the extensive literature on this specific problem. Also, it is not only the Search Bar.
