Windows not updating, and windows key not working

I have been having an issue with my computers ability to update, as well as the windows key on the keyboard not working, and some games not going into full screen mode. I noticed that the other day, when I would play any game, and then pressed the windows key, nothing would happen. I researched this and doing more digging I found it wouldn’t work at all. I even tried a different keyboard. I then thought it was a windows issue as it had had errors updating for the past few days. I ran the troubleshooter, and it would run for hours on end. If anyone can help I’d be thankful!
