Hello,
How does WMR make its VR controllers works for VR games, is it with DirectX ?
Khronos have release OpenXR to support VR for games using OpenGL.
So to resume there is SteamVR (and their OpenVR), OpenXR (from Khronos), and DirectX for Windows Mixed Reality ?
Also, why there is no support in WinAPI for VR controllers event as there are support for keyboard, mouse, joystick, printer, everything you want ?
Except VR.
It's really strange that the USB-IF, before 2004, has built a communication standard for future VR setup in its documentation (HID Usage Table), but Windows doesn't support natively this USB device.
That's why, we all have this mess of VR libraries that pop out on the internet like mushroom
Thanks for enlightening me.
