Windows License Key Renewal Possible Scam

I received a phone call purporting to be from Microsoft to inform me that my Windows license key has expired and that I have to renew it. I called the number provided, 1-855-601-0009, and the person that answered was not native born American. Without asking me any questions about my name or Windows version he told me that my license key had expired and that the renewal cost is $200.00. To the best of my knowledge the license key for any Microsoft operating system never expires.
