Windows keeps crashing and giving black screen.

Occationally, my taskbar stops working and so does my explorer. When it crashes and refreshes, my desktop wallpaper becomes completely black in the background for a few seconds and it seems like Windows refreshes itself.I looked in the "Problem Reports" window and see how many times it has happened in the past few hours.It says that there is a "hardware error" occuring. I have no clue why though, and there is nothing wrong with my computer except windows crashing periodically.My other programs and apps are still working in the foreground though as windows refreshes itself.What should I do? It
