Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device (code 56)

Whenever I try to connect to the Internet on my PC via USB tethering on my phone, it doesn't do anything and when I check device manager to check what's wrong, the driver for my phone says that Windows is setting its class configuration of the device. (the same error as mentioned on the question)I've tried fixing the issue by uninstalling third party programs that might interfere with my connection but it didn't work. I have Virtualbox installed on my PC so I uninstalled it hoping that it would fix the issue but it still didn't.I saw that someone else also had this problem in 2017 and I tried
