Hi all,
I had posted this query in IoT forum : Windows IoT Core : USB function (USB Device) stack and Client drivers
I would like to know driver development feasibility for this.
We are working on a x86 based processor, which runs Windows IoT Core.
It has a USB Device port. From this link : An Overview on USB Support and Dual Role for Windows 10 IoT Core - Windows IoT I understand that IoT core supports USB device (USB function) stack. Is my understanding correct?
From the same link, I also understand that, MSFT doesn't support any USB function classes. OEM need to develop and provide these drivers. Is it true?
Is there any guidelines or document by MSFT on developing USB function class drivers?
What is the relation of Win IoT core USB function stack with that of Windows (USB device-side drivers in Windows - Windows drivers)? Any possibility of MSFT supporting this on IoT core as well?
Any reference code available for developer? If developer should develop this from scratch, what is the feasibility?
Thanks.
