windows install troubles

[Windows 10]

I had a friend re-install windows 10 on my hard drive because of hardware conflicts I was getting, now I have a working windows 10 again, but when i go in to put the key to activate windows it tells me not valid for this pc, so i tried to reinstall windows hoping it would let me to the main loading screen where i can put the key in, but no hope. i figured I would boot from USB but its like it ignored the command to boot from usb, then i tried the disc and again it told me hardware incompatible any clues to get this fixed
