Windows Explorer frequently crashes and restarts

Running Windows 10 I frequently witness that explorer.exe hangs and that my desktop is being restarted.I checked Event Viewer and saw the following being logged:The program explorer.exe version 10.0.19041.4717 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed.
