Windows emails have been corrupted on recovery - how can this be fixed?

My ISP is British Telecom (BT) and the master email account is with BT. I push this through to a windows mail account which I use on a daily basis. From time to time the windows mail account fails and results in a recovery file being created stating the recovery date. The recovery file has historically replicated all the emails. This time it has corrupted the emails as only one email has been genuinely recovered in each folder lets call it 'Email A'. The contents of Email A is then found in every other email in the folder.
