I use Calibre for editing epub books. When I had a lot of books in the Calibre library and I wanted to see the listing I used to search the Calibre library folder in Windows explorer for 'epub' or '.epub' and the entire list came up.

Since the latest win10 upgrade(s) that no longer happens.
The list comes up empty, even though there are dozens such files in the folder.

When I search that folder for 'jpg' the search runs like normal. All the pictures show correctly.

When I search for 'epub' nothing shows, at all.

When I search other folders for 'epub' they do show up. The problem seems to be specific to the Calibre library folder.

I have tried with file view 'show known file extensions' (even though that is not needed for JPGs)

I have tried searching for capitalized 'EPUB' instead.

Still no result.

It is very time consuming if I have to open each individual book folder to find the epub files when search should do same in a fraction of a second. .

Does anyone know a solution to make the files show up?
