Windows display driver for backlight control

Hello! I've started recently digging into Windows drivers model with practical idea (raw theory not fun) to increase pwm frequency of my laptop display. Can You please suggest what WDDM module is responcible for this? Or this is done only by GPU card driver? As I know Intel uses COM object igfxsrvc.CUIPower for this. But I have AMD ryzen with Vega 8... So what SW layer should I use for that?
