Hello Team

Kindly review and help on below queries

Query 1: GenericUsbFn.sys installation Issue

We are trying to install GenericUsbFn.sys on windows iot core using devcon install genericusbfn.inf "USBFN\GENERICUSBFN" . However we are seeing the GenericUsbFn driver status shows it in "stopped" state when we check using devcon status . How can we make the GenericUsbFn.sys to run without any issue. Kindly let us know if we are missing something.

We have enabled the USBFN package as it is mentioned in the following thread

Windows IoT Core : USB function class driver in Windows IoT Core

we have included the IOT_USBFN_CLASS_EXTENSION in the FFU. Is there any general procedure, how can we confirm whether the USBFN enabled correctly in the FFU?

Query 2: Registry USBFN InterfaceGuid

We manually checked the values in the registry HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\USBFN\Interfaces and we are seeing IpOverUsb and the InterfaceGuid = {30613563-7df3-4afb-80e0-e8c427c7e9bf}. This is different than the ClassGuid provided in the GenericUsbFn.inf. What should be the InterfaceGuid if the GenericUsbFn.sys is enabled and is up and running.

Is there any other dependencies to be handled to make the GenericUsbFn.sys to work with the application or user mode service?

Thank you & Regards

Hemanth kumar velooru.
