This is regarding my Windows desktop layouts for both version 7 and 10.
My desktop will sometimes, self-organize into an almost logical layout.
It will take icons used the most and align them along the top of the screen in horizontal rows stopping at about the middle of the screen.
Then it skips a row and adds items not used as much below the skipped row.
It also leaves a vertical gap in the screen starting at the the end of the row on the left stopping at 2 columns from the right. On the right side it places unrelated items in these two columns.
The following is the screen layout, the letters are just icons.
a b c d e f
g h i j k l
q r
m n o p w x
s t u v y z
I don't remember putting the icons in this kind of order. I will sort the desktop and it will stay sorted for a while, but the desktop eventually reverts to this peculiar layout.
Does anyone have any ideas on how this is happening?
I would like to tweak it if this is a hidden feature or know that I need to get rid of a weird virus.
