I check Services and its was Stopped - When I tried to Start it, I got these two messages.
"The program is turned off"
click here to turn it on"
Gave me this error
"Program is blocked by Group Policy"
Error 0x800704ec
this is a 1st for me, Running Windows 7 (Sp1) (with a GWX Control Panel Blocker, don't want OS 10 yet) Avast Internet Security (which had a program version update 2 days ago) + MBAM, & SAS & Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (made no changes to MBAE) But I did add defender as an Exclusion on the other three?
I can't open Defender at all & I did receive downloads for it several days ago. I have tried almost everything?? All the security programs used to run? but not defender.... Trend Micro House Call - is clean. anyone help - or anyone else? regards & thanks. Hope I posted this in the right area?
