Windows Defender Error Code 0x80004004

As of today, the 27th of April I keep getting the Error Code 0x80004004 when trying to update Windows Defender, stating that "The definition updates couldn't be installed"


I am running on Windows 10 Version 1511 and run no third party anti virus or fire wall.


I tried restarting my computer, closing all other processes, etc. I have not found any way to resolve this issue. Hopefully somebody here can help me with this problem.
