Windows deactivated following 24H2 update

last month I was forced to update Windows. One of these overnight experiences. Since then I am getting a message to Activate Windows (a watermark on the screen). It doesn't accept the original product key which I found through the cmd prompt; I tried to reinstall the update which initially made the watermark disappear, but a few days later it reappeared. I have the Microsoft 365 Business Premium version
