Windows deactivated after update

Overnight, my computer did an update. The new version tells me that Windows is not activated. My product key is a volume OEM, so I can't pull it off the BIOS. I also I can't find the physical copy (if I ever had it... I found the empty envelope that says that there should be a COA label on my computer. There is not.). Activation Troubleshoot does nothing. I tried saying I'd changed hardware on the troubleshooter, but my computer does not show up in the list of devices I can confirm I am using, even though it is linked to my Microsoft account.
