Further to my question above which I just sent, I noticed one of the replies to this question raised by others in the past suggested: “Another cause could be misconfigured VPN settings ... if that is service you are using”. As I use Bitdefender’s VPN and have not altered any of its settings since downloading .NET Framework 4.7.2 and now I cannot access the Internet, can the download have altered the VPN’s settings? I am totally confused and frustrated that nothing now works! Thanks for any help that can be given.
