Windows button won't open the start menu.

My windows button recently just stopped working and it won't open the start menu now which can be pretty annoying when I'm trying to change my window in a Fullscreen game. It still works, like I can press windows + G to open up gamebar, but it won't open the start menu when I press it. I have tried many things to fix, and it works when I'm on a different account but there are some things that I am unable to move to that account to just use that account instead. I share my windows account that I mainly use with another person, but they use a different PC so I don't know if they somehow disabled
