I am new to driver development.
We are biometric device manufacture company. We are using Cypress controller in our fingerprint device, so we are using cypress based USB device driver which works fine with our propriety application. but now we want to use Windows Biometric Framework to achieve windows login for one of our fingerprint device.
This device is already with customer. So we don't want to make change in fingerprint device hardware.
So if we only write WBDI driver and required adapters, will it be sufficient to support Windows Biometric Framework or hardware changes also required?
We are targeting Windows 7 and later operating systems.
