Windows advanced startup thinks windows is installed to the D drive when its on the C drive

Windows advanced startup thinks windows is installed to the D drive when its on the C drive.I'm running windows 10 2 hard drives C: Windows SSD D: Data HDD If I go to windows advanced startup and try to reset pc or fix startup it says unable to fix error log can be found at D:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\Srt\srttrail.txt.That folder doesn't exist, however, there is a log on my C drive, C:\Windows\System32\LogFiles\Srt\srttrail. I do not have win10 on D drive. The log file says it was trying to "fix" windows on D drive, which obviously failed. So my question is, how do I tell windows that windows
