I purchased a digital copy of Windows 10 Pro on May 18th, 2020, and used it to activate Windows on my desktop successfully.When I purchased the license, it was advertised that I would be able to use this license for my next device when I decommission the current device. I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro when the offer was given.Last week, that computer's disk with the operating system died.I formatted and re-installed Windows 11 Pro (same as the license I had) on the other drive.
