Hi, I have a windows 8 pre installed notebook with UEFI - GPT, that worked fine until yesterday.
It started with the error
0xc000000f
(The boot configuration data for your pc is missing).
I tried the repair/restore options, but they fail, with a
The drive is locked
message.
Following the instructions at
http://woshub.com/how-to-repair-uefi-bootloader-in-windows-8/
which basically recreate the BCD file after selecting the partition for windows, I get to the start screen
(with the clock and date), but my touchpad and keyboard don't respond.
The indicators for the network and power supply work, and the clock advances, but I can't login. USB keyboards and
mouses don't seem to be registered (no lights or activity).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
