Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center cannot upgrade to Windows 10?

My laptop is running Windows 8.1 Pro WMC, I'd like to upgrade my OS to Windows 10 pro, but it is always fail.


I checked with MS's technical support, after them remote to my laptop checked, I got a answer 'sorry, your OS version cannot upgrade to windows 10, you have to buy Windows 8.1 Pro without Media Center, then you can upgrade to Win 10'.


I think It's unreasonable. I'd like to try Windows 10, but I don't want buy one more Windows 8 Pro license again


Anyone can help?
