I have Windows 8.1. I have been using Miracast for a few years now with no issues. Last week I beleive Mircrosoft did one of it's updates. Now I no longer get the "Add a wireless display" option when I go to the charms. When I go to Devices > Project there used to be a "Add a wireless display" button. It is not there anymore. I am not sure as to why. I tried to look up solutions and none of them work.
I do not have VirtualBox. I don't have the "Deterministic Network Enhancer" on my network properties.
I already went to Device manager and UnInstalled the following
Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual adapter, Microsoft ISATAP adapter + all # variants, Microsoft Teredo Tunnelling adapter + all # variants, Microsoft WiFi Direct virtual adapter + all # variants.
I unpaired all my current devices and I restarted the computer and that didn't work.
Anybody have any other ideas?
